Accepting New Patients in Central FL
what to expect at Your First oral surgery appointment
At the first visit, you will have a private consultation with one of our Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons. Based on the information gathered at the consultation visit, your diagnosis and treatment options will be discussed with you, and a treatment plan made.
In order to ensure that you receive the maximum benefit from your insurance, one of our financial coordinators will discuss the coverage you are due, then will also help you schedule your procedure at a time convenient for you.
In order to make this process go smoothly for you, please bring the following to your initial visit:
- Your surgical referral slip and any x-rays if applicable.
- A list of medications you are taking.
- Your insurance cards and forms from both your dental and medical plans.
IMPORTANT: All patients under the age of 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all visits.
When you call to make your initial appointment, please alert the office if you have a medical condition (i.e., diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are currently taking any medication (i.e., heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.).
If your dentist or physician has taken x-rays, you may request that they forward them to our office. If there is not enough time, please pick them up and bring them to our office. If additional films are necessary, they can be taken at our facility.
For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. We also offer CareCredit and Lending Tree. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients. Payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. If you have questions regarding your account, please contact us at Winter Park Office Phone Number 407-629-4444. Many times, a simple telephone call will clear any misunderstandings.
Please remember you are responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.
