Dr. Avery D. Goldberg was born in Detroit, Michigan and grew up in Boca Raton, Florida. Dr. Goldberg studied at the University of Central Florida prior to acceptance for early admission into the Indiana University School of Dentistry.
After receiving his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Indiana in 2006, he began his training at the University of Miami, School of Medicine in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He completed a surgical internship and his four years of residency training in 2011. While in Miami, he served as Chief Resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from 2010-2011 at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Goldberg received the prestigious Faculty Award for Outstanding Patient Care upon completion of his residency training. He has trained extensively in maxillofacial trauma, dentoalveolar surgery, advanced bone grafting-techniques, tumor and reconstructive surgery, and orthognathic surgery.
Dr. Goldberg is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is active in the Smile for a Lifetime Foundation. Dr. Goldberg and his lovely wife Kim have five young children. He enjoys baseball, fishing, basketball, and going to the beach with his kids.

Dr. Goldberg and his staff performed three dental implants for me several months ago. Today just two weeks before I was scheduled for my new crowns, an issue came up with one of the healing caps placed over the implant. My wife called the office at 9:30 AM and they scheduled me to see Dr. Goldberg at 1:20 PM that afternoon. Dr. Goldberg made the necessary adjustment to one cap and I was done. As always, the adjustment was painless, quick, and perfectly accomplished. Dr. Goldberg and his entire staff makes each visit a pleasure. I'll add one further comment that this office visit was my first time in their new office. I was seriously impressed with their new location. The building is beautiful and located in a safe, accessible, and convenient place.

I had an extraction and three dental implants done by Dr. Goldberg. Starting with our initial contact for the first appointment, the entire staff was helpful, compassionate, and highly professional. My issues required several appointments and several procedures two of which required IV sedation. Dr. Goldberg and all of his surgical assistants were very attentive and skilled at keeping me comfortable with little to no pain before, during, and after their work was completed. I am very pleased with my outcome. It goes without saying that I recommend Orlando Oral & Facial Surgery. I would not hesitate to return to this office should I need additional work done.
