Dr. Sravanthi Ganne was born in Vijayawada, India and immigrated at age 10 to California with her family. After graduating from high school, she was accepted into the accelerated high school to dental school program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry.
She received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2005 from UMKC, and based on her outstanding performance in dental school, she was accepted into the six year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Connecticut.
She completed her internship year from 2005-2006, and she received her Doctorate in Medicine from UCONN in 2008. While in Connecticut, she completed a one year internship in General Surgery and she served as a chief resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from 2010-2011. At the University of Connecticut, Dr. Ganne received comprehensive training in dentoalveolar surgery, orthognathic surgery, trauma surgery, and anesthesiology.
Dr. Ganne is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Dental Association. She believes in caring for and treating her patients as family. Dr. Ganne is married to Dr. Giridhar Venkata. She enjoys time with her family, playing with her nephew, gardening, bicycling, and cooking.
